'Swapping' Partners

I just wondered what you all thought about people who 'swap' partners?

My wife and I have been married for almost 10 years and she often talked about sleeping with another woman.
To cut a long story short, she had the chance (and after talking to me) took it.
I made a throwaway comment to the other woman how my wife was lucky to have had fun with her, this later turned into a little flirting when we all went out for our next meal.

Things progressed and the women (and men) talked and we decided it might be fun to have a little swap, we all agreed we didn't want to watch or talk about what our partners did, so arranged to take the others partner back home with us after a night out together.

So we have done this a few times now, everyone enjoys it and there doesn't seem to be any issues between us all when its all done.

So I just wondered what you all though about it?

Well, if it's going well, you've all talked and agreed on what works for all of you and there aren't any issues...I don't see a problem.

FYI: I asked to have this thread moved to the "Open Relationships" folder where it will get more attention. :)

As long as everyone wants the same thing and is getting their needs met, then I'm all for it =) The only thing that worries me about situations like this is that sometimes, one partner is just going along to make the other happy. But if everyone is really into and there is chemistry, then go for it and have fun with it!

As an aside, I really *hate* the term "Swap", lol. It sounds like...trading baseball cards or something, lol.

I think that if the four of you are happy with what you're doing, it doesn't matter what we all think about it! Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

I couldn't handle a full swap like that - I'd be too preoccupied thinking about what dh was doing to enjoy myself.
