Wow, Ilove how some questions make me remember back to times I had kinda forgotten....

When I met my SO I was freshly divorced, and I wasnt looking for a relationship butI was looking for a buisness partner so that I could continue with my investments ( I do alot of real estate investment) So I met this guy and started talking to him about my goals with investments and things of that sort, It turned out that he didnt have all the aspects that I needed in this specific situation, But he did have some Great qualities and we decided that it was worth dating and seeing how it went. I had never met someone that supported my career as much as he did. We knew we had something special within a week or so although we wouldnt call it love ( both being newly divorced the "L" word was a little scary, Even though both of our marriages had been over Years before they were officially over" We continued to date and we starting having sex as well and that was the most passionate sex that I had ever experienced. I think we both really knew it was love wtih in a month but it was said openly for the first time on christmas day last year after about 2-2.5 months of being together

One of my first clues was when my best friend was complaining about what a jerk his dad was and I started defending his dad.

So I guess the question of the day is.....did anything ever happen between you and the "Dad" and how much older than you was he? LOL

My husband restores cars as a hobby, he was working underneath his moms car, changing oil. He had it jacked up with the tire jack and it fell off, the car landed on his chest.

The front wheels were off and yes, the WHOLE car pinned him. It crushed him.

He had a punctured lung, broken ribs and possibly paralysis. It didn't phase me a bit that the man I loved might be in a wheel chair for life.

That's when I knew, it was true love. 21 years later? We're still together. Today is our 15th wedding anniversary.

DH says he fell for me as soon as he saw me. I on the other hand took a little longer. We were co-workers both climbing up the ladder to management. I've always been a huge flirt and he didn't escape my flirtatious manner. We had been working together a couple of months when he asked me out. I was somewhat cautious because I didn't want to mess my management promotion up. I suggested we go out to lunch and not call it a 'date'. Well, even though we found out we had many things in common, there were so many things that we didn't have in common that peaked my interest. We continued to 'do lunch' almost every work day for the next month before I agreed on a real date. After our first date, before he dropped me off at my apartment, he gave me a letter. I won't go into everything that was written in it, but it basically said that his heart was mine and he'd do anything to make me his. It wasn't poetic and he misspelled a few words(lol), but he poured out his soul in that letter. I knew after reading it that I couldn't let him get away and my heart opened up that night. I hope I never forget that moment.
