Now, let's not get into a debate or anything like that.

Did you watch any of the inauguration?

I tried watching it online but it kept cutting out on me, so I waited until after lunch and watched some of it. I thought it was nice of Michelle Obama to present Laura Bush with a gift. According to the Today Show, they have never seen that done before.

Congratulations to President Obama.

I did watch the whole thing..I enjoyed it. I have not missed a minute of it. Still watching..

Another thing that has never been done is the Obamas walked the Bushes to the helicopter...And they stood and waved good bye. The Obamas are very considerate folks.

I wish him luck!

I caught about 45 minutes of it at the gym today - midday - while I was on the treadmill.

Yes I'm proud to say I was at work and barely did one iota of official "work product" today. :)

Had the computer on all day and we have two monitors, so I had MSNBC on one and the other one had e-mail (work and personal), etc. Had it on ALL day. President goes to get sworn in and the feed freezes. WTH? Grrrrrr.

The gift, I heard later, was a leather bound journal (since Laura is going to write her memoirs). My local NBC station just reported the quote from Louis L'amour, but I didn't catch it.

I kept joking around that watching TV at work is great, it made the day go by fast. :) It was "worse" than the holidays,, the office was empty. Hellloooooo, hellllooooooo, hellllooooooo. I enjoyed it but probably not good for keeping my job in the economy.

:)

I was home today so yes I did watch.

I will always watch our nation's ceremonies as they really are historical. I feel the same about the State Of The Union address. I never want to become so jaded that I don't feel
