DYK it's back...the DYK thread, that is.

DYK I love the DYK

DYK I'm sorry Cindy, but I couldn't resist. ;)

DYK Mrs O, er, Mrs P, I wonder if Mr O would be rightfully proud to know of his name?

DYK....my Dad taught me to stand up in front of whatever I was afraid of and "look" it in the eyes.

DYK...he said if I did that then "we" would be even and it would be up to me to prevail.

DYK...that is easier said than done.

DYK...I have always been interested in things I wasn't supposed to be.

DYK...I still am.

DYK...the reason I thought of you was I knew you would get on me about returning to class.

DYK...sometimes I need a push.

DYK...I do not always get what I want.

DYK...I know it seems that way.

DYK...a woman at work once said to me "I can't imagine anything ever goes wrong for you"....

DYK...she was wrong...lots of

DYK people who think others always get what they want are really jealous of the way others may gracefully handle their losses and defeats (whether they know that or not)

DYK I wanted your team to win too

DYK I am disappointed too

DYK I wonder what this week's "expert" consensus will be regarding Joe Gibbs, LOL

DYK I love the play-offs, even

DYK...I so appreciated your assessment.

DYK...some individuals live their lives with their eyes wide open and do not dwell on past disappointments as it is unproductive to do so?

DYK...that is not to say they were not, in fact, disappointed.

DYK...they move on.

DYK...moving on and letting go are dramatically different actions.

DYK...they are not mutually exclusive...

DYK...I am so in the mood for some football chatter?

DYK...Joe Gibbs will always be a 3x SB winning coach.

DYK...I do not believe the "gentleman" coach can be effective in todays "game".

DYK...I am saddened by the winding down of the season as well.

dyk..that i have a hard time letting go?

dyk..i can hold a grudge for a very, very, very long time?

dyk..i realized that holding grudges are unproductive and that person/situation still has control over me because i allow them to by holding the grudge?

dyk..it is a hard lesson to learn and remember but i am getting better at it?

dyk..i have to remind myself to learn something from my disappointments?

dyk..sometimes not getting what you want can be the better option?

dyk..and sometimes getting what you want is not what you thought it was going to be at all?

dyk..i have learned to be very specific when asking the universe for things?

DYK I can hold a grudge for a long long long time as well

DYK It's not productive to hold a grudge, but knowing that doesn't make it easier to let it go

DYK I think the universe is teaching me to 'chill out' and not stress so much about the uncontrollable things

DYK With 4 children there is a lot of uncontrollable things in my life!

DYK........I enjoy good football chatter too.

DYK........for as much football as I've played and watched - your knowledge of sports details far exceeds my own.

DYK........the DIL were lost last summer was a rabid Steelers fan and watching that game last night was very painful.

DYK...I really do not hold grudges per se.

DYK...the "not letting go" serves as a reminder to not let "whatever" happen again.

DYK...can you imagine me letting someone have a control over me?

DYK...I am fully aware of the ridiculousness of that statement but in my own context it makes sense?

DYK...I agree with you ...I have gotten what I wanted and it's not all that it's cracked up to be.

DYK...I only ask the "universe" for one single thing...I ask to have what is best for me.

DYK...I often get just that.
