DYK It's been quite a few years since I've been to DC.

DYK I think there are things that people need to see and experience in a physical sense and Arlington and the war memorials are good examples.

DYK when you come face to face with the gravity of being able to see more than 58,000 names of those killed in action in Vietnam it leaves a lasting impression.

DYK it should.

DYK you must be proud of your grandfather.

DYK I am just about to finish up John Grisham's The Confession.

DYK next up (and on my Nook) is The Help by Kathryn Stockton.

DYK waiting in the wings is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen and a host of paperbacks I haven't had a chance to look over.

DYK a friend dropped a shopping bag filled with them last month to me.

DYK what is surprising you?

DYK...I always feel in awe when I'm in Arlington

DYK...I'm always proud of my military family

DYK...I also wish they could blow up Cecil College for me since they lost my paper which needed to be sent to the LSAC with my transcripts...so nothing got sent

DYK...I got my transcripts and am paying an arm & leg to overnight them tomorrow

DYK...I've never read a John Grisham novel

DYK...I want to read The Help

DYK...my grandmother always brings me Dean Koontz paperbacks

DYK...the book, Bond With Me, is surprising in how hooked I am by the characters

DYK...the reviews were mixed since some/a lot found it way too graphic sexually

DYK...I also never thought I'd like paranormal romance/erotica to this extent

DYK Bond With Me sounds more like Fantasy than SF.

DYK I think I'll skip it, thanks.

DYK Neil Gaimen?

DYK I just recently read Neverwhere by him.
