Reading the Submission thread has given me an idea...
A lot of books were discussed in that thread that I'd never heard of (the Story of O was the only one I knew).

~smile~ I am quite the literature nerd
Beowulf and the Canterbury Tales are two totally seperate works. Beowulf was written sometime between the 8th and 11th Centuries and is written in Old English, its thought it was writted somewhere in the Bristish Isles but depicts a heroic Viking tale that takes place in Denmark. Beowulf himself is thought to be Norwegian or Swedish. The Canterbury tales were written in the 14th century by Geoffery Chaucer. It was written in Middle English.

uh-oh, loth as a dom.
You are right...I did have a pic of Death as may avatar...she was sitting having a cup of coffee :)...and yeah..me as a Dom, that is scary lol..not sure how good at it I'd be...never tried lol
I haven't read the bloodsuckers series...sounds enticing though...right now I'm reading the Eddas again, Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and jsut finished a book called "Taking Up the Runes", wasn't very impressed with it. It a huge volume but just rehases the same info over and over, anf it was stuff I already knew. I picked up another new book yesterday as well called "Hanging Out With the Dream King" its a collection of itnerviews with Neil Gaiman and the people he's worked with on his novels and the Sandman, I'm excited to read the one with Mike Dringenburg who is responsible for the depiction of Death as most people know her.

Death: You get what everyone gets....you get a lifetime.....
currently i just finished my last instalment of the harrington books and i'm looking for something thought provoking and perhaps mentally stimulating.
Yep..Death is a spunky little goth chick with a sunny disposition
It would definatly be interesting to put me in the Dom role...I have never really entertained the idea because of my passion for being submissive. It would be an experience for sure.

Death: You get what everyone gets....you get a lifetime.....
