With Thanksgiving upon us there is a lot of talk of food circulating around in our conversations these days. In the past we've discussed

OK, I'll stick to the T'day dinner, too.

How about sweet potato pie?

Your "timing" the rice made me think of a co-worker of mine who used to say she could time a poached egg by her husband's "performance".

How sad.

(your story was fun LOL)

Sweet potatoes. Another rich taste to let slide over the tongue. The texture is what I think I'd enjoy,

The texture of cheesecake is another good example.... NY Cheesecake. It's creamy but dense. The density would cause the tongue to create more pressure against the roof of the mouth before swallowing. There is something about the tongue pressing against the roof of my mouth that I find sensual.

Several foods come to mind ... first, a warm, steamy, cup of chai latte ... pungent aromas, spicy flavors, warm steam filling nostrils ... sipping it ... creamy, warm liquid splashing across my tongue ... down my throat ...

a second food - cream brulee ... sweet, warm, creamy, smooth ... break the cruncy top ... taste the sweet, burnt sugar ... touch of bitterness ... smoke ... caramel flovars ... feel the creamy smoothness ... warmth ...

a third ... mashed potatoes ... for a story not as a food ... a girl i knew once filled an ice cream cone with warm mashed potatoes ... we'd been playing for a while ... she came back to bed with the potato cone behind her back ... casually made sure i was ready ... buried me into the cone ... omg!!!

Mmmmmm, creme brule.... Delicious!

Mashed potatoes will never be eaten again without thinking of this.

The plump, voluptuous, buttery mouth feel of rich, pate-like stuffing sometimes puts me in mind of livelier delicacies that have passed my lips, of warm, yielding flesh.

Hi Tiger!

Lots of variation between textures in your examples. They're all warm however.
