"I dont have a lot of patience, I want what I want NOW"

LOL, I want to believe I am patient, but I in reality I have trouble waiting lol. Let me say that I can wait for what I need to wait for. If the rewards outweigh the impatience then it's not much of an issue to wait for it.

The Universe has been trying to teach me patience since the day I was born.

I swear, why is this so hard for so many people? I know life isn't all sunshine and roses- believe me, I know- so why does the person who has pledged to love and care for you let you down so often? I guess if I knew the answer to that, I'd be a millionaire, LOL.

"The Universe has been trying to teach me patience since the day I was born"

Life is basically about patience. Everything is something to wait for. Sometimes short sometimes longer. The best part of life you get to choose what you want to wait for gracefully, or what you want to wait for without...patience lol. There is no rule that says you have to be patient always.

"because then it would bite me on the ass later"

Well sometimes that can be fun lol. but seriously...every time you get bitten on the ass you learn something new. It's what you do with your lesson that is important in the long run.

"I would just move onto another lesson, at least it would be something different right?"

Every time you experience something new it just

For me, I hear "I love you" a lot but the actions I see don't really back the words up. After a while, the words just become more words...

{{{{{HUGS}}}}} KD, you deserve all the love and time you desire!

That's basically the problem within the problem. You can run into people everyday who let you down in one way or another, but when it's the person who isn't supposed to let you down in anyway, that's what ends up hurting more than anything else.

You always want to believe that you will be chosen over everything else and when it doesn't happen It cuts deeper than anything else, but when the next instance comes up we naively hope that we will be the choice this time time and yet again...we are left to wonder what we are doing wrong and why we aren't the most important aspect of their lives like they are within ours.

You know, I never really realized just how much I needed to hear I love you until recently.

I understand that too, KD. It is a very special gift. Saying "I love you" as though it excuses your lack of consideration, thoughtlessness, and self-absorption cheapens the words. It's an insult to the concept of love to treat someone you "love" so poorly.

BTW- I love you, KD.
