girl on girl: acting on fantasy

I've always been mildly curious about being with another girl, but the 2 times I've had the chance, I've chickened out. I'm not in a "relationship" right now, just "dating", so I figured that now was a good a time as any, so I just answered an ad on craigslist for an "experimentation".

I'm nervous, and wondering if I'll have the guts to go through with it! But I'm tired of wondering "what would it be like?" I'm straight, but a woman taking care of a woman, in the way that only a woman knows how, seems very intriguing to me...

I agree it's a good time to see what you are like. Just having "feelings" and vague "desires" is not clear enough and you'll discover how serious your feelings for other women are. I think you're thinking "What if I discover I'm a lesbian?" So what if you are? It's you, isn't it? But you're probably not, but somewhat like me. I like doing things with other women, I'm sexually attracted to some of them, but I have never fallen in love with a woman, only with men.

What should we call you? Does your screen name have a particular meaning?

Hi, everyone, I do sometimes visit iVillage. "Cunegonde" is "the heroine" of Voltaire's "Candide." That's what the second part of my name means. "Sieglinde" (German) is pronounced (if it matters) "Suh-GLIN-da").
