I discovered I was "somewhat" bisexual when I was 18. I've had my fair share of crushes on women who were not really into that kind of thing so I think I have some idea of what you're dealing with. I've found that it isn't too different than when I've been very attracted to a specific man as far as the feeling itself. However, it's different in the capacity of the awkwardness we often feel about it. Approaching a woman, especially a straight woman, is much more risky socially and takes much more subtlety than it does in flirting with and possibly approaching a man. You're smart to consider how realistic the possibility of taking the fantasy into the real world is. Some fantasies and desires are workable while others are best left in our mental spank bank. They key is to get real with yourself and really dig deep. Trust your instincts.

I have never had a sexual experience with a women. I have been attracted to a few women in my lifetime (thinking about them from time to time), but nothing like this. I have developed crushes on men during my time of being married, but have never acted on it or had an affair.

Most likely your infatuation will run its course and given time things will be less intense. Have you ever been attracted to or been sexually involved with a woman before? One thing that has helped me in the past is journalling and even writing stories if that sort of thing appeals to you. It helps you let off some of the steam. Just make sure you keep your journals in a safe place, or if you keep them on the computer, make sure you have it protected with a password.
