8 Surprising turn ons for men.

From Men's Health Magazine

Ask a group of guys what turns them on about a woman, and you'll sometimes get the predictable answers: full lips, full bosom, full booty.

These are a few quick-and-dirty biological imperatives that will turn many a man's head. But a lot of women fulfill those requirements already. So what makes certain women boy magnets, and leaves others spending Saturday nights watching Saturday Night Live skits?

As always, men are more complicated than a lot of people give them credit for, and when it comes to turn-ons, the masculine gender has plenty of surprises up their metaphorical sleeve. Here, some of the ways to effectively rev the masculine engine:

1. Standing Tall

Don't get me wrong: it's not that we want a woman who can balance a beer tray on her head. It's what good posture says about her. A woman who stands tall typically a) dresses well, b) exercises often, and c) is confident about her body and what it's good for. And if she's proud of her figure no matter what shape or size, that makes men take notice, as well.

2. True Grit

Men know that women cry. Men know that women can get hurt. Men want to be there to help whenever they do. But there's something insanely attractive about women who can bite their lips, buck up, and grit out some of life's twists, turns, sprains, and pains.

Note: Before you throw e-daggers my way, I'm not suggesting that it's not

The baseball cap for sure. There is something about a woman wearing a ball cap with her ponytail sticking out that is just downright sexy. A woman who'll hike and get all dirty right along with you is right up there too.

Doesn't have to be a ball cap could be a team jersey i.e. hockey or football.

Getting dirty definately, makes getting clean together more fun.

I haven't necessarily thought of all of these myself, but i've pointed out a few of those things myself. the baseball hat for example.

~ Last year I received a kidney transplant from my older brother from another state. I'm glad and thankful the operation as a success. Just don't tell him that now i have 3!!!

DH got me a football jersey for my birthday. I love it. I wear it ever chance I get. I have also received college football shirts from other men from their colleges.

#1 - yes...a confident, but not cocky, woman is very attractive.

#3 & #7 combined - DW looks great when she is out doing yard work, rugged shorts/jeans, Cubs hat for sure (we have confidence that they will get there

#1 Standing Tall — yes

#2 True Grit — yes

#3 Baseball Cap — yes, as long as she can pull it off and actually knows something about the game. Bonus points if it's a Red Sox cap.

#4 Software Savvy — not really. I don't care what a woman's field of expertise is, her competence at whatever it is turns me on.

#5 Sexy Shampoo — maybe, as long as the scent isn't overdone.

#6 Understated Underwear — not really.

#7 Dirt and Sweat — definitely! I dig an outdoorsy chick!

#8 A Few "Duh" Moments — a few, sure, but this is easily overdone.

Interesting list..I don't wear baseball hats..I can't pull off that look..I do have an old redwings jersey (Yzerman, if anyone is interested lol) that I love..it's huge on me, but very confortable..plus I love hockey..as for gettin' down and dirty..I love to hike, raft, kayak, rock climb etc...I've done it for as long as I can remember, been some pretty spectacular places too...I'll never fotget spilunking in a cave system here in NC...by the time we came back to daylight I was covered head to toe in sticky brown mud...it was an awesome time though..I even did one of those outward bound things when i was 18...a month in the wood..unfortunatly I got sent home a week early though..I broke my ankle a two day hike from base camp...but this lovely long haired boy in my group carried me almost the entire way down the mountain ~smile~

I will admit to not being a very outdoorsy kind of girl, I will do the camping thing provided I have something comfortable to sleep on and electricity close by. I have gone hiking and hiking up a mountain. Getting down and dirty is fine because thats what showers are for afterwards..lol. I wear a hockey jersey to the games, and to the pubs when we go there. I enjoy playing pool, I can throw a football, and bat a baseball, oh and I love tobogganing in the winter down the side of a long hill..

I think the list pretty much sums up alot for alot of guys, it is broad yet gets to some of the points that is important to them..I mean a good looking sexy woman is fine, but if she is afraid to get her nails chipped or walks around like she is miss dainty, then she is no fun..So I think a mix of both is a good thing.
