The appointment went perfectly, though how they had me sitting put my chest on display for everyone in the damn shop lol....Guess thats what happens when you tattoo your back and have to sit there in your bra LOL....but it looks amazing!!! I am sohappy, it's peeling and icky right now, so once thats all done and over with I will post a pic!

Congrats!!

Unfortunatly there is no set healing time for your tattoo. No two people will have the same healing times. It depends on how your body reacts to the ink, how your body heals wounds in general, the type of ink used (there are over 100 kinds used in the world today and none of them are FDA regulated), how deep the ink was embedded in the skin, where on the body you got it etc. lol...I know, I'm not much help...mine tend to heal pretty fast....it should peel like a sunburn a couple days after you get inked, if it peels a ridiculous amount or hardly at all, no worries, like I said everyone will be different. Once the peeling is done and theres no redness it should be about healed if you've taken good care of it. But still keep it out of the sun and away from pool, ocean and lake water for at least 3 weeks.

Congratulations! What did you get and where? I got one a couple months ago and it wasn't bad at all. The peeling I think was very minimal and I had no itching. Just keep putting lotion on it. That's what I was told to do and it seemed to work well. But as L said, everyone will react differently.

Hi Sandi!

Can I just say how incredibly awesome it is to have the freedom to talk about my tats and have someone be ok with it. I completely repect my DH's position but we have come to an understanding about the fact that it is my body. That being he said if I were to decide I wanted more and they were very visible he would have us part ways. Oh well, I too thought most guys liked them, I know they completely do it for me....

Ok I so wish I had exciting news for you on my piercings - all in my ears! Nothing exciting. Sorry to disappoint.

4 in one ear and two in the other. But OMG when a guy has nipple piercings I know more women that are completely crazy turned on by that, not sure why but it is fun to see on the right man.

So what are you thinking you want for your "one more" where do you want to put it? Color, black & white?

I can't wait to hear.

All 6 in your ears.....I was counting your ears as one....ha,ha,ha...oh well it allowed my imagination a bit of a workout..I have a couple of friends that have their hood pierced...I think if I wasnt so shy....yes fellow DBs I said shy...I would totally like to try that...I heard it makes your orgasms more intense...my DH laughs and says if mine were any more intense they would probibly kill me....ha,ha.....

Now lets see...right now I have just the one tat on my lower back....I know...so original right....but anyhoo..I work in the corporate world, and wouldnt want it anywhere that it could be visible at work....so I have a red heart, with angel wings coming out of the heart in electric blue, and a red devils tail trailing out the bottom of the heart.....

Next I would like to get another one that is not so original anymore...so I can best describe it as the Posh Spice tat....that is 3 J's in black script, one on top of the other on top of the other, starting just at the base of my neck going down my spine...the 3 J's, are for my kids Jason, Jessica, and Jordyn...

What tats do you have and where, and what do you want to get next?

I too work in a position and for an extremely conservative company in management.... Whoo-Hoo! Talk about bucking the system.

I have also the lower back , a butterfly with flowers and vines it was something I drew as a child. Funny story I wanted a tiny butterfly with wings and it ended up taking up my entire lower back. I have the Blue

You know, its crazy, I work in the corporate world as well. The majority of my ink is on my back so my only visible tatt is on the inside of my left wrist, and no one minds. I'm the "artsy" girl at my office lol, so they don't give me any trouble. I am dying to get some ink on my forearm though. I want to get the quote down there in my siggie "You get what everybody gets...you get a lifetime" inked onto my forearm. I have the font and everything I want already picked out, its just pulling the trigger on it. I also have plans to tattoo my ribs. I want a phoenix on one side and a western dragon on the other. The head of the Phoenix will rest on my back near my hip and the body and tail will curve upwards and around my sides. The same with the dragon on the other side. They'll kind of form a frame around all the Norse art that goes up my spine and onto my shoulders. The only problem is I can't seem to find a Phoenix I like. Most are very Persian or even asian looking and I wanted to find a Russian depiction of the firebird. The Dragon is easy, I've already pulled an image from one of the saga's thnat I particularly enjoy, so now its just getting my artist to tweak it for me.

OMG the tats sound beautiful I would love to see the dragon and phoenix. That is an amazing undertaking on your ribs. The friends I know that have had their ribs done say the pain is quite baptizing I will say. So if you love pain (like I seem too) this might be a healing experience.

Share when you get these done I cannot wait to hear an maybe see the beautiful artwork you will frame yourself in!

Your quote is so great too! I am going to find somewhere to use soon.
