I've Been MIA. Did Anyone Miss Me?

Sorry that I haven't been around. I decided to take a break from the boards and focus on real life. There have been changes at work that I've been dealing with. We're scheduled to move into a new building, but like any typical construction project, the moving in date keeps getting changed. We were supposed to move in on December 16th and now we're scheduled for January 6th.

My health has been a pain, literally. We had our staff Christmas party on the 9th and I really wanted to go, but my fibromyalgia was flaring so badly that I could barely move. This was a system-wide flair and I was not a happy camper. One of my co=workers is having a Christmas party on Friday, so I'm really hoping to go to that.

Some bad news: My cat Billy, who is my baby and the love of my life, was recently diagnosed with FIV, which is the feline version of the AIDS virus. Needless to say, I was a wreck when I got the news. Right now he's doing ok. W/we're taking it one day at a time with him. Billy will let me know when it's his time to leave me.

Something else that I've been focusing on is my spiritual path. It has been on the backburner for far too long now. The God/desses having been nudging me in that direction, letting me know that I need to get back onto my path. I've been working on my grimoire and Master is going to help me find a place to set up my altar.

I hope that everyone here has been well.

Sister,

I'm so glad you are back. Sorry about Billy. I know you and Master will take care of him and not let him suffer. So sorry to hear about all your pain too. I don't have fibromyalgia, but know for me it sucks missing out due to pain. I hope all gets better.

Did anyone miss you?

I DID!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you stopped in for an update. I wish you had better news about your health. Hopefully Friday will work in your favor and you will have a great time.

I know how you love your animals so I'm sure you are especially worried about Billy. I also know that you will tend him tenderly and he will be much loved and cared for.

You have a lot going on sister, I'm glad you made time to visit!

;)

You have certainly been missed, but I can see how you needed to focus your time and energy in some very specific places. I hope that you will feel better, and your renewed focuses bring you comfort and an uplifted spirit.

You are missed!

A grimoire is a book of spells and rituals. The term actually applies to the magicians of the 15th to the 19th centuries. Wiccans use a book that they call the Book of Shadows, but since I'm a Druid, I call my grimoire, even though the original Druids didn't write anything down pertaining to their rituals, herbal lore, magic, etc.
