NH is going or has gone in for a surgery she has needed for awhile. She has shared her troubles with most of us here. Please send out your prayers to her and her family.
Many moons ago, DH was in the hospital in the country and the RN told him he could leave after supper....dh was like I have to wait until after 6pm to get out of here. She meant noon. He says that is lunch not supper-she doesn't talk like normal people talk. I guess Wisconsin folk talk funny. Us IL folk use dinner/supper interchangeably to mean the same meal, but the noon hour is always lunch.
I too get a big kick out of BL accent although she says she doesnt have one and its me that has the accent. Ether way its a kick everytime I talk to her.. How about you Deja.. Ole Horndog have a accent.. you have heard my voice many times..
And Good Morning Mrspe....
Its always been supper here for the evening meal. Lunch was the noon meal and of course breakfast.....
Down south when you order tea it always comes unsweet.. BL says that's the only way she drinks it.. That and lemonade... O and I have herard that Turkey storie as well... LMAO
oh my horndog....you don't have an accent...you are midwest like me. It is BL that has teh accent....
As far the tea thing-it might come to the table unsweetened, but I put gallops of sugar in it to make it drinkable. I am not a big fan of tea, if I do drink it, it has to be peach flavored and iced and sweetened. I can be demanding at times.
No not time yet. The oldest is still in school. i am posting resumes on the net trying to find a job. One can't say I haven't tried.
I get asked if I am from Fargo alot. I don't get it, but maybe if I go visit my mommy friends up from around ST. Paul, MN I might hear it. Yes, I am planning on taking my kids up to MN in the summer to visit with some other mommies that I have known since Jan. 03 via this darn contraption known as the net. It is still in the thinking is it doable stages? I am suppose to go down to Ky in June to see my SIL get married.....why she is getting married is beyond me...she has been with this guy for 12 years already and has his kids. I am rambling sorry

Yes but in Dago-land it's spumoni! LOL
DH ( my Dago-lander) will ask me when we are eating supper and I will reply that we are eating dinner at 530.
We grew up within 10 miles of each other ....

It's hard to know what you'll get when you say 'dinner' in this country!!!!

You demanding???????
Hello there!
I developed a taste for iced tea, unsweetened, and with a little mint if available. If the restaurant does not have it unsweetened I pass.
I am rather fond of Long Island Iced Teas but that's another thing entirely.
(smiling)
It's nice to see you.
