My husband loves thigh highs but I cannot wear them without a garter belt because they roll down my legs and its freaking hard to snap the garter belt onto the thigh highs to keep them up. Ugh is there an easier way?? Or maybe a trick to get them not to roll down???

Yes I have used the ones you speak of with the semi-adhesive plastic...and I have no problems at all getting them to stay up, and I am thin....and they stayed right in place...

HI Jen welcome to the board! You know how some woman collect shoes, I collect lingerie. I found the best places to get good quality stuff Victoria Secret(they have thigh highs that feel like silk and also have the rubber at the top, Hudsons aka Macy's and JC Penny's. Personally you may find a better garter belt at JcPenny's believe it or not. All sexy outfits are not created equal and yes many do fall apart, so invest a little bit in the beginning and they won't fall apart. By the way Fredricks of Hollywood you take a gamble with their stuff sometimes it is good other times it is not but they have improved over the years. JMO

all seem like good suggestions.

~ Last year I received a kidney transplant from my older brother from another state. I'm glad and thankful the operation as a success. Just don't tell him that now i have 3!!!

ditto that about the fred's of hollywood stuff.

My .02 cents about lingerie and such:

Thigh highs are a hit, as are garterbelts, etc. But you can tell the cheap stuff a mile away. That being said, I don't think the very high end stuff is worth the money, so just try and find a quality garment you can wear every night.

Cosabella is a great brand, their stuff looks good on anyone. It's a little higher end, but it's unique.

I'm a huge fan of shelf bras or more 'open' cut bras. I know it's less support, but anything that allows the nipple to 'peek out' is a hit.

Any plaid skirt can serve as a schoolgirl outfit. Might as well get something comfy that you like.

If I had the choice of a woman or man salesperson to help me pick out or make suggestions on my lingerie purchase I would definitely choose the man.
