What is it about fall?

So...fall is by far my absolute favorite time of year, especially late fall when it stays cool and the leaves are tumbling off the tree in a myriad of colors. This time a year fills my soul, but also leaves me with a sense of longing. I love this mix of emotions, and I tend to be firskier this time of year. We talked about this over on the pagan board in a thread started by Sisterhoney, but I thought perhaps we could take this in a more fantasy related direction.

How do you guys feel about fall? Does it bring about a new set of fantasies?

Eh, it's ok. The days are getting shorter, nights and mornings are cool, days warm up fairly nicely. It's refreshing. Doesn't do anything for my fantasies.

If I lived farther south than Tennessee I would like all seasons but as it is Northen Indiana has COLD winters and lots of snow usually and even though I think fall is pretty here I will miss swimming, fishing, biking, and just enjoying the outdoors till spring gets here again.

Fall is hands down my favorite. The crisp cool air. The smell of fall is the best, it is the one time of year my ever present candles are not burning. I leave the windows open as long as possible. There is of course as mentioned my Faboome, F-ME boots. Oh how I miss them! And like you Lothiriel, for some reason fall make me more emotional and nostalgic. And frisky! "Playing" naked in freshly fallen leaves is a bit of a fantasy for me. Weird , I know but there you have it.
