Feedback.....

Giving our feedback on a story a writer has posted here is really important.

I would encourage everyone who reads a story to take a moment and let the writer know that the story was read.

If possible a comment or two about what was enjoyed about the story would be also greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!!!!!!

I would agree with what Mrs P says here wholeheartedly. I have on occasion posted a story or two here that has received no comments whatsoever. It's discouraging, and leaves us as authors whether anyone is reading our work, even though the view counts say that they are.

If you enjoyed a particular piece of work, please take a moment to let the writer know that.

I agree. People take the time to write stories for us to enjoy, that's the least we can do for them.

It would also be nice if the writer achknowledged that the reader took the time 1) to read the story and 2) left feedback...

I'm not sure which stories you've posted that haven't received any feedback, but I sure as heck know which ones we've co-written that have slipped away nearly un-noticed.

Two of our joint efforts, in particular, come to mind. I don't know about you, but it leaves me feeling rather equivocable about the notion of continuing to post them here.

I hope you reconsider this line of thinking.

I would be greatly disappointed.

I've always done my best to try and post something quickly about stories I've read and liked.
