I posted this on my other board but thought it would be great to find out what people here are doing as well:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm curious to hear what other people are up to for the New Year. What are you doing to ring it in? Are you making resolutions/listing goals/etc?
As for me, I've decided to not do anything this year. At first, I was hyped up to go out and party and visit people, etc., but now... plans fell through and I started thinking to myself, do I really want to go out until 4am, get wasted and then lose a whole day? I don't think so. So I think I'll stay home, relax with a good bottle of bubbly and then make the Happy 2006 calls at midnight.
Between now and midnight tomorrow, I'm also going to take the time to review the last year,
Hey those sound like good plans. I have not made any plans at all. I am hoping to spend a quiet 3-day weekend at home - maybe take in a movie or tidy up the house. Maybe try some new recipes. Iri
2005 was a very good year for Cham. I have learned not to make resolutions but rather have a sort of loosely planned set of goals for the upcoming months. It works better that way.
I had a couple of bad men experiences in the beginning of the year, I am not so sure I like what I am learning about the opposite sex in middle age. These guys have lots of issues, far more than women who quite often have gotten it together by their forties.
I might clean out my basement, I might not. I might get in my car and drive far far away and stay at a motel.
I haven't made up my mind.
