hey guys, I'm going out with my friend's cousin tonight for the first time. He seems like a nice enough guy, and I'm going out with him because, why not, he asked me. Still, if I don't see myself attracted to him (or if I am repelled by him) at the end of the night, what's the best, chillest way to let him know I'd like to pass on future dates?
Thanks.

What's wrong with just ENJOYING THE DATE first? Pianoguy can't understand why you've already formed an opinion on this man before he has even "wined and dined you?" Kinda shallow, don't you think?
Nobody is suggesting that you have to make this a long running relationship, but out of courtesy...don't automatically dismiss the man! He might actually have a few qualities that'll surprise you?
But if you're bound and determined to HATE HIM and NOT DATE HIM....at the end of the evening, thank him for the nice time, give him a hug, and when he asks for a 2nd date reply:
"Can I let you know in a few days?"
This way...you can re-evaluate the events of tonight's date...and he can prepare himself for your 'future rejection' if you choose to go that route?!
