Age Difference - Help...

I'm 28 and I've been talking to someone who is 47. He seems very serious and DEFINITELY know what he wants (as opposed to many 30/31 year olds who think they do). He's been married before and knows which mistakes not to make twice. Do you think the age difference is to big???

AGE matters to 2 different sets of people:
1. To the couple who are involved with each other.
BOTH halves of a couple have to be comfortable in pursuing a relationship together. If one has doubts about the commitment a partner might have (based on a previous marriage or dating situation) and it's age-related....DON'T BOTHER DATING OR GETTING INVOLVED! Simply because...you'll probably have those same doubts eventually? Definitely NOT the basis for a healthy friendship (or relationship).
2. To the outsiders who think they know more about an age difference THAN YOU DO!
As hard as it'll be...YOU have to turn 'a deaf ear' to friends and well-meaning family members who feel you're being USED by a man old enough to be your father (or grandfather)! This is often an impossible task for many women (who are concerned about appearances) to pull off. So they take the easy way out and stop communicating.
Forget about "just being friends"----you need a little DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU before you can pull that stunt off!
