Am I being impatient?

About 2 months ago I was at a friend's party and met somebody with whom I got along quite nicely. Nothing happened that night (even though it was clear he really wanted things to happen). I send my friend an email to ask for the guy's number (we didn't exchange numbers) on Sunday. She emailed me yesterday and said she'd get me the number in the evening as she didn't have it with her at work. She didn't email me back yet. Should I ask her again? I don't want to look desperate! Also, I'm not looking for a relationship, I'm just wondering if he's still interested as it's just a physical thing, iyswim... Or should I try to give her boyfriend a call/text as he works with him? It's just that when I get my mind set on something it just can't happen fast enough. Please teach me some patience tricks!

Also, when I do get his number, what do I say? I don't feel comfortable calling him so I'd rather text him. How do I know he's interested? I really don't have a clue how to go about this...

nah... your not being too impatient... just like me you want everything done yesterday... lol...

the way to patience is delete everyone's phone number... no lie... it helps and it works... if you dont have their #'s you cant call... as for calling him, be straightforward and ask him out or whatever... im a great believer in saying the truth... just say it!... be yourself... calm yourself down first... hey, if he says no, no big deal right?... nothing ventured, nothing gained... whatever happens, dont take it personally!... lol... and one phone call, one conversation... no more... dont be calling him all the time... ONE PHONE CALL GOT IT?!!!!!!... lol... if you call more than that or message him, etc etc, then you will appear desperate... if you ask any of his friends about him, THEY WILL GO BACK AND TELL HIM!... so... you get the idea... :)... good luck...
