Hi, I'm a college student and am working on understanding the whole college dating scene. usually I just ask my guy friends questions (like what constitutes a date in college in their opinion , etc) but i feel like i need a girl's/outside view ...
So here's my predicament- I've been on two dates with this cute guy I have class with named Ryan. About four weeks after I met him he started asking me to hang out sober/ come watch some of him and his frat brothers play hockey, etc. After me having a conflicts about 4 times with meetings/ already had plans, I finally said yes. First date we went out to dinner on a Sunday, met up after for drinks with some of his friends and then met up with more of his friends at one of their apartments, and then cuddled and kissed after. So far so good...
And the week after that I got cute texts from him - hope you're having a good day, or he'd walk with me towards home after class and we hung out again the next Sunday watching a movie and kissing, and he introduced me to some more of his brothers (he lives in the frat house, but has a single).
I've seen him in class twice in the school week following that and he's waved and smiled...and we've texted a few times (he told me he got moved up to the upper tier of his team, I told him I won an office in my sorority). On our last date he did tell me he had a huge test (40% of his grade) on Thurs he needed to study for and four squash matches this weekend....
so, I know it's only been two dates, he owes me nothing really, but is it ok he's tapered off? and we're going into thanksgiving break and formals are the next weekend (two weekends from now) how do i keep things going/ keep his interest? Is it ok if I ask him to hang out before we leave? or would it be better if I waited to see if he persues me more?
oh, and we had our sorority formal this friday (two days ago) but I didn't ask him cause a) it'd only been like two weeks/ two dates and b) i knew he had squash on saturday and figure'd he say no...but some of his brothers were at our formal... so he def. knows...is that bad? i didn't wanna freak him out cause sorority formals are a big deal

You never know until you ask.
