I'm in the same situation and I've been looking at every little thing and asking little questions. For example, my guy of 2 months is a major Harley fan and values his bike. He has a truck that he cares for and I was in it for the first time yesterday. He puts this rug thing on his leather seat. I asked why. He said that he doesn't want the rivets in his jeans to scratch the leather. So... I did some thinking and I'm hoping to buy him Harley Davidson seat covers for his truck. The only thing is that his seat has an attached arm rest so I have to be careful of what kind of seat covers to buy. Good luck with your gift hunting.

Isn't it just the worst?? I've been dating my bf for about 3 months, only we aren't super solid. I mean, we are but..we're taking it sort of slow. So the only thing he's even mentioned is a CD.

I'm waiting until RIGHT before Christmas to shop for him. I figure maybe he'll reveal more by then and I also don't want to jump the gun and have to return anything! lol!

Yes! This is the worst! I refuse to start dating a guy too close to the holidays! I always blow it in the gift dept and the bloke goes AWOL just before New Years Eve (when you mostly need a date).
I've bought them romantic gifts. Too soon.
I've tried giving useful gifts (like a sweater). Too cold and impersonal.
I've given hobby related items (their mums already beat me to it).
The worst is buying a gift and having him break things off, just before he is oligated to buy you a gift.

Sweater, CDs, concert tix, along those lines. Something nice but not super personal or super expensive
