Desperate for Intimacy

My boyfriend and I live together. From the beginning of our relationship our sex life has been less than satisfactory for me. I have a much higher sex drive than my partner and sometimes it makes me feel down. I have tried discussing this with him, have dressed sexy, etc. and nothing seems to work. We do have sex, don't get me wrong, but it's always very predictable and quickly over with. I don't know how to solve this problem. He became so physically distant (not touching me, holding my hand, etc. on a regular basis) that I started to believe that he was seeing someone else. Upon confronting him with this question he was extremely upset and mad. We spend everyday together so it would be next to impossible for him to cheat but I didn't know what else it could have been. Well, this morning he got up before me and took a shower...I came in as he was exiting and he had a huge boner, leaving me to think that he's pleasuring himself in the shower every morning before I get up. He tried hiding it with the towel but I had already seen and didn't mention anything about it. Do you think that his masturbation is taking away from our intimacy? I don't mind masturbation but I think there is a time and place for it and should be used when absolutely needed. Mind you, we haven't had sex in three days up to this point. He always says he's too tired. I don't know what to do???

Hi
Well sex is an important part of a relationship between a couple. You don't say how long you've been together but that it has been a problem from day 1. It's possible he's feeling a bit threatened now because he feels he can't satifsy you? I don't know obviously but this is an issue that needs to be dealt with to see if there is some sort of compromise that can be reached.

BTDT...it turned out that moving in had been a big mistake on his part and instead of saying so, he was passive about intimacy.
