Hi Everyone,
Well, I need some input please! I am going out with this guy tonight and want to know what you think, everyone has great advice here. Anyway, this guy has asked me out before a few months ago, and i guess I wasn't ready yet and said no. Here is the thing, he lives in the highrise where I lived with my ex, and I have known him politely to say hi or whatever for about five years now. He is single, no kids, which is important to me, is attractive and my age. But, he said " whatever you wanna do "Suzie" is ok with me, I have weekends off like you do etc." I don't want to spend hours and hours on a first date though cuz what if it gets awkward ( or is that just nerves )so, we are gonna go to the mall, then Dinner and a Movie. He said to let him know when I wanna go, and where , and what to see. How long before the Dinner should we go to the mall, what do you think is enough time or too much time on a first date, we are both in our forties if that means anything or helps, I am thinking the worst thing that could happen is we could be friends. What do you guys with the experience think?

Hi Suzie,
I'm sorry I didn't see this in time. How'd the date go?
Hi Chik,
Well, thank you for responding. So, we met at the mall, roamed around the stores ( uncomfortable) did Tim Hortons. Later we went to the show and he paid for everything, was a perfect gentleman.. but then, he drops me off 7 hours after the date started and called me 15 minutes later after he got home.I am no expert but I thought that was too soon! He said he enjoyed the date and what was I doing on Sunday, what are my work hours, who is visiting, how about Friday night. I was feeling suffocated already. Oh yeah, he says he likes to (get this ) watch his big screen tv and he also stated he has one in the bedroom, and how cool it is to watch tv in the bedroom. I told him I don't watch alot of tv and especially not!! on the first date. He called again tonight but a colleague was here, and so I was just polite, but, there is absolutely no attraction ( now I know what you guys are talking about ) zippo ! Know what he does for fun? Walking, and watching tv.
Well he is only 40 not 75 and i am 48, with alot more life in me.
Suzie
