First Kiss vs. Second Date

I had a date on Friday night with someone that I met through a friend (thanks again for the input on the dressing up issue). The date itself was fine, great in fact, but the good night kiss was just awful. Gut churning almost. It was supposed to be a good night kiss and a first kiss to boot, but it was tongue first (literally his tongue was the first thing to touch my mouth) and his idea of an embrace was almost a headlock. The chemistry had been okay until then. Not thunder and lightning, but not bad either.
Would you give someone a second date after something like that?

Kinda a hard one to answer, lol. I personally do not like the full on attack of the tongue at any stage of kissing. Maybe this guy can be taught how YOU like to kiss? You said the chemistry had been ok to that point, now can you picture the headlock kiss again with fondness? LOL Sounds like he was really eager to get something going with you than taking it slow, which I would be weary of anyway- since he may be expecting a lot on the second or third date. If you're not attracted any more to the guy, there's no problem with that, and no you don't owe him a second date. You met, you kissed, the attraction wasn't there, so move on.
Leading with his tongue on a first kiss is definitely grounds for not going out with him again. Yuck.
