Getting my stuff back?

A month ago, I ended a relationship in which I was continuously being stood up and brushed to the side. The conversation ended with me telling him to "leave me alone." The tough part in the breakup was that we had been friends for a good while before getting serious, and it is this that weighs on my dilemma: he has some CDs and pictures of me that I showed him one time. While I don't like taking pics, these were really nice pictures. Is it petty to want these things back? Is there a time period set for trying to get your stuff back? Thanks.

Not petty at all... are you comfortable enough to call him and tell him you want your stuff back? Ultimately, it comes down to that. Don't do the email/text thing. Call him and say "hey, I'd like my stuff back...when can we meet?" or something similar.

Hope this helps. Good luck! I know it's no picnic... keep us posted.

It's your stuff, you're entitled to it. Ask definitely.

definately get your stuff back.
I didnt get some of my stuff back from my last break up and it still bothers me.

if he doesnt want to see you, send one of your friends to get it for you.

Yes, get your stuff back. If he doesn't want to see you, or drop it off, tell him to send it UPS. But he has to give you your stuff back!

It's your stuff, not his. You are totally within your rights to want it back. Go to it!
