Go with my heart?

I have been seeing this guy off and on for almost a year now. His job makes him unavailable completely at times and because of this it has been a no pressure kind of relationship. He has always been upfront about his job situation and I appreciate that. His job schedule will be getting back to normal in a couple of months and I was thinking of sending him a card to wish him luck on a big event coming up. We usually don't stay in contact while he is gone, and I was wondering if this would get me brownie points. I want to continue seeing him and hopefully we will pick things back up when he returns. Is it a good thing to let him know I am still interested? I have a major crush on him. :)

Pianoguy thinks that you should DEFINITELY send the card!

But pick out one that isn't mushy. Humor works...or one with a sincere friendship message. Write your note inside the card and mail it to the man. Whether you get a response or "brownie points" really depends upon him!

Pianoguy feels that you should send the card out and not expect anything...this way, you'll be pleasantly surprised if there's a response!

You seem to be willing to accept his work schedule, but whether the man can "work" YOU into his life (on a long-term basis) is a mystery to me! I hope that he can?

Best wishes and warm thoughts...

Thank you pianoguy. I have always agreed with your advice for others. :)

They should pay you for this. ;)

You brought out a "blush" in Pianoguy this morning with your last response! (And women tell me men don't do this.......au contraire!)

To be honest...I'd really enjoy doing an advice column for a newspaper syndicator or news service...or format this in a live radio program? . So if an ivillager or 2 would like to 'refer me to an influential person or group'---that might have a few extra dollars to spend---an opportunity like this would be FANTASTIC!

THANKS SO MUCH for your very nice comments!
