Great time, but no call

I thought mabye I could get some insight on this situation. I met a guy at a bar and gave him my number-called me a few days later. We met up last Thursday for drinks. I had a really good time and I think he did to. I've dated a few guys lately who have really not been for me and it was nice to hang out with someone like this guy. We just met up with some friends of mine and his for drinks then he took me home and was on his way. Anyway he calls me the next day (Friday) and we chat for a few minutes b/c I was on my way out and he says I'll call you after the weekend. Now it's Wednesday and no call. I'm a pretty pessimistic person, but even I was pretty certain that this guy would call considering I got good vibes from him and we seemed to click. I understand game playing, but I think its been too long for that!
Do you think i should just let it go, what could be the reasons he decided not to call? I always tend to take these things personally and think about what I did wrong.
Thanks!

Pianoguy read your post twice and the only thing he could think of was the classic line from THE SHADOW:
"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?"
There could be several reasons why you haven't received a phone call from the gentleman you were with last week. But rather than speculate....give him a few more days to MAKE THE CALL!
Meanwhile...try to get over taking any non-communication from us TOO SERIOUSLY! Some men (and women for that matter) have no clue about "following through on a promise!" They often forget or dismiss it!

Maybe a quick, very casual email just to say hi. Then let it go.
But you did nothing wrong. You can never predict these things. Good luck.
