There is a guy meet last October.  We met once and it went really well.  We continued to text but then he wouldn't text.  At least once a month he contacts me and wants to start up again and then after a day - disappears.  PS - We haven't had sex....although I have made it quite clear that I would be willing

He often says that he wants to be with me and that he can't stop thinking about me. He says that he he looks for me around town and that he dreams of me often. He says that he wants to spoil me and take care of me.

I usually text him for a while - no response and then I  just give up and then out of the blue he texts me.

We finally saw eachother again - it was passionate (no sex).  He practically attacked me and then no word for a whole month...

Should I just give up - it seems he likes to be chased but I am tried of chasing...should I just move on...

I am usually an very independant, busy woman...but I cant get him off my mind - how do I get over him?  Is he interested?

You don't mention it one way or the other, and I'm sure you'll say no, but it sounds to me as if he's either married or has a girlfriend... he sneaks you in when he can fit you in and then he disappears and goes incommunicado when he can't fit you in.

He's interested in you on his terms alone.  I think you should quit responding to him unless you like this level of game playing.

It depends on what you mean by "interested"...if you mean is he interested in stringing you along with the absolute minimal effort and cheesiest of lines while doing the same thing with probably several other women at the same time while also probably having, at the very least, his ego stroked by all this, then yes - he's interested.

If you're asking if he's interested in anything remotely resembling a real dating relationship....no. A guy who is interested will not let you alone for long (a few days maybe, not weeks) because he would think that you are incredible and does not want to lose you to someone else.

If you're interested in being played, then keep with this. But I hope you can get your head out of the clouds long enough to see the sludge that is going on here.

You've only seen him twice in 6 months? Does he ever indicate why he is out of touch for so long?

He says he dreams of you often, and wants to spoil you and take care of you. If you're living in the same town, it seems like a no-brainer that he could pick up the phone and make it happen. Honestly, it sounds to me like he's married or has a girlfriend or just otherwise does not want to get involved.

I think he's interested in having you available to text when he feels like it, but he doesn't sound like he wants to actually date you. I wouldn't be surprised if there are several other women he is also contacting in this same way.I'm assuming you met him via an online dating site? If so, I'd recommend dating other men--ones who actually want to date you. I just couldn't stay interested in someone who I never saw and who only texted me sporadically. I would move on.
