He says he's moving back to Georgia

I've known him for about six months as friends. Right before we actually let each other know that we were attracted to each other he had started talking about moving back home to Georgia. He's lived here on the West Coast for four years. Now that we've gotten a little closer and started hanging out more, he still says he wants to go back. Why would he keep calling me and wanting to see me if he's just going to leave in a few months? If we get any closer, it'll be really hard if he leaves. I'm not getting this. Why does he keep cooking dinner for me and wanting to see me and talk to me if he's leaving? Any insight?

He seems to be enjoying the moment and wants to live it before he goes back home. He'll probably thinks that since you both are attracted to each other there's no reason why not share moments like an intimate dinner and such. Perhaps he wants to have a fling or a short romance with you before leaving. You seem emotionally invested already and this type of relationship will definitelly hurt you on the long run. If you feel that getting closer will be bad for you then you should tell him that you don't think this is fair to you, as you're really interested in him.

I'm not sure if I should talk to him about this or just stay away from him to avoid getting hurt.
