how to ask a guy out?
Sat, 11-24-2007 - 8:55pm

So I posted a little while ago about this guy i've gone on two dates about and have a question:

first- here's some background info
met two 1/2 months ago through mutual friends at a party. really hit it off, he wound up getting my number from our mutual friend (said he was too nervous to ask for it when my friends said they wanted to leave and go to another party) and texted me the next day asking what i was doing that night. so we met up at a party talked a lot again. (one of my girls said he blushed when she told him i was there) wound up finding out we had two big lectures together. At one party i was talking to a guy friend of mine and he said "hey man you hitting on my girlfriend?" laughed and kissed me on the cheek ....???? I was kinda drunk and told him to relax and slow down (and he was clearly offended and the text messages slowed a lot from him) We'd walk back from class together sometimes, text laugh a lot. So I invited him over to study for a test we had we definintely flirted a lot more that studied lol so he asked me to hang out (sober) with him and some friends/ go out to dinner five times before I said yes (I legit already had plans those nights)...but he asked through text message....what's with that??? and so we've been on two dates (made out after both :) )

ok so now my question-we've been on thanksgiving break, and i haven't heard from him (4 days) which isn't that weird, and as was established last posting he's not my boyfriend and therefore he owes me nothing like that) but how do I ask him to hang out when we get back from break tomorrow?? should I jsut send him a text the same way's he's asked me??

such as "hey, what are you up to tonight? i'd love to hang out"

also, they have their formal coming up this weekend...should i be offended if he doesn't ask me?

and I did take another guy to my formal (but that was after date one and I thought it might have freaked him out, but his brothers at my formal were watching me considerably)

thanks!
