How can I get him?

I like this guy who is 4 years older than me. We've known each other all our lives and our brothers are very close. Also, my Dad is almost like a real father to him because his dad past away when he was only 3. Well anyways, A few months ago he started talking to me like he had feelings for me. For a long while we've been talking and spent some time together. We have kissed and then some even though he expressed to me that he doesnt want a relationship. He really is a genuine guy and I like him alot. He told me he's trying to get back together with his ex girlfriend, and I've seen her over his house. I'm always left feeling torn and upset over this, but lately he's been talking to me as if his ex was out of the picture. He would flirt with me, and try to "seduce" me I guess you would say. I'm really confused because I don't know if he still wants to get back together with her, or spend time with me? It's gotten to the point where he'll see me, we'll kiss, and then he won't talk to me for a while. He's been coming back to me even though he said he's trying to get back with his ex. I really like him and want him to be with me, and I don't know how to make him stay. I want him to be happy, but by the looks of it, it doesnt seem like he really loves his ex. So I think there might be room for me to make a move. But i don't know what to do. Please help.

If he wanted a relationship with you, he would tell you so.

You can't GET him. If he doesn't want to be with you - he won't be....I've been there. I had FWB relationships with a guy who was good to me in a way but he never wanted a relationship with me. It took me very long to REALIZE that. I knew from the begining that he wants jus FWB but kept hoping that he would chage his mind. I waited 6 months....He never changed. Walk away hon and don't look back.
