There is a guy at work who I believe he likes me. He constantly flirts with me, tells me noce things, how pretty I am, that I he hopes I already dont have a boyfriend and he is telling other coworkers, in a teasing way, he is my boyfriend. He has been flirting with me more than 1 month, Im guessing he really likes me but he is too shy to admit it or to shy to tell me, he is interested in me, because so far he just flirts with me and havent ask me out to even to take a cup of coffee or going to the movies.

One day in a special event the company did, I danced with a coworker, he saw me dancing with this coworker, he danced with another lady. Then we ran into the refreshments site and he told me: "How come you come to the activity and does not even say hello to me, you sat over there and never said hello to me and then I said, I was there but you also did not ask me to dance with you (that was true)" Then he replied: "Did you know why I did not ask you to dance?, Because I was embarrased that you will say no to me".

Is that shyness?

Everyday he hints me words that he is interested in me, or he is just flirting, but he is never straight with me, he always go around the bushes. So Im guessing the guy is shy.

What to do in order him to open up more with me, feel confident since I came to the conclusion he is shy or he simply does not dare to tell me things he thinks in the case he is really interested in me and not just flirting.

When he said that I said: "Of course not, you should have asked me to dance".

Everyday when he comes to work twice a day (he does not work in the same building as I am, he works in another branch office of the company in another town) instead of calling me by my name, he calls me precious, love.

Is he really interested in me or he is just flirting?

Well, he is flirting, no doubt about that... but, what are his intentions by flirting... that's what you need to know...

The next time he tells someone he's your boyfriend, jokingly correct him indicating that all boyfriends of yours actually ask you out on dates.
