If you could change just one thing to make you feel better about yourself, what would it be?

I'd like to be able to moderate my action and feelings more. I often dive head-first into things when I shouldn't. I'm not very good at doing anything that doesn't take my heart and soul and that I don't strongly believe in. I'm trying to work toward this goal by pure determination--pushing through when I do things I shouldn't and trying not to do them again. I've only had partial success.

This is hard, because there's one physical trait and one personality trait I would change. The physical would be my breasts. Bf says he loves them, but I think they're too small and a little uneven. I'd give anything to just be a B-cup!
Personality, I wish I was a little more adventurous and extroverted. I'm a little shy until I get to know someone.

Good question!

I must be kinder to myself. I am totally 100% my harshest critic. I was a shy, introverted, overweight ugly duckling in school. I was tormented non-stop and even though I am older and am no longer the duckling, I have carried on that tradition myself!

For example, this is my first year teaching and I feel like I am doing a horrible job. I tell myself that alot and work myself to death to "do better". But last week for parent conferences, 95% of the parents were very happy with me and I have had several veteran teachers come up to me and basically applaud for what I am doing. (I work in autistic support and the other teachers say they don't know how I can do it)

Anyway, so long story short, I need to change my attitude about myself and start telling myself that I am worth it!!! :-)

I need to practice this with others..."Innocent 'til proven GUILTY!"
TRUST is very important to me. My word is my bond and I should put the same initial trust in ones word as I hope one would put in mine; for my word is all I have.

It's important especially at this time of year that the first person we need to love, admire and respect is ourselves. Until we're comfortable with who we are, we can't really develop a nurturing, healthy relationship as equals.
