Left Up In The Air --- Games or No?

This guy that I have been on several dates now with emailed me Tuesday and asked if I wanted to do something Friday and if Friday wasn't good then how 'bout Saturday. I wrote back that day and said that Friday was fine and that it sounded like a plan. Well, he never responded with an "Ok, let's touch base on..." or "Great! How bout we do this." Nothing. So now tomorrow is Friday and I have no idea what is up. Do I assume that he didn't get my email cause hotmail blows at times or that he changed his mind and it's a no go. (No, he wasn't busy at work...he said it was extremely slow, and no, he wasn't busy preparing for the holidays cause his one family member only lives about two hours away and he wasn't leaving to go there until Thursday morning early). I hate this and I think it's kind of rude. Any advice or thoughts?

Stop making dates through email which can be lost sometimes. Start using the phone.

If you've set the day for the date, I don't see why any follow up is necessary until the day of the date. However, if he doesn't call you by noon-ish or so today to make specific plans, then I'd follow up with him.

I agree with the suggestion to use the phone rather than email. I would have said, "Friday sounds good; please call me to firm things up". Once you've met, I really dislike using email to plan dates.
