First of all let me start by saying thanks for everyone giving there advice on my other topics. Now some easier advice. My girlfriend comes home tomorrow and I am picking her up at the airport I already got her the perfume lovespell as a surprise (she knows, she had to get some so I told her I got it for her)I told her I had another surprise for her, I was going to get her a rose to go with it but, she really doesnt like roses. My other idea was a card with a note inside of how I feel about her, is this a good idea, and does anyone have any other good ideas that would be romantic?

I would definitely love a card with a heartfelt handwritten message inside. I always long for that in any relationship.

If she doesn't like roses then don't get her a rose. Those wonderful sunflowers are in season here in the states, they are very summery. I'd hold off on the card until you have time for a romantic dinner. She will be preoccupied with getting home and getting her stuff in order after a long trip and won't have time to devote to reading a card in transit.

Also, another nice thing you could do for your girlfriend, if she lives alone and has a kitchen, you could pick up some perishables that she will need like milk, bread and eggs so she will have some food for her refrigerator.

Just an idea.

Couldn't help but mention that that's a such a sweeeet idea(getting some basic grocery)! I'd be way too touched.
