My place or his place - always mine

So met this great guy, and we see each other about 3 times on average a week. However he always wants to come to my place because we have more privacy and where as his roomies are always around.

And no by privacy I don't mean just for making out - but time to get to know each other and spend time together.

Anyway, I would like to see where he lives and go there, but as silly as it sounds, I don't want to be pushy on him about it.

Any suggestions on this? Honestly, I haven't dated much and am so I want to learn to do things the right way.

You could suggest at some point that you would like to have a look at his place, and see how he reacts. Try to find out about his roommates--are they male, female, how many? If it turns out that he lives with a single female roommate, then maybe there could be a reason to be more suspicious (but not necessarily). Most likely, he is just too lazy or busy to clean up his place/room for your visit. Also, it may be true that the place is always crowded, if he has several roommates.

Thanks for the reply. He lives with a guy and the guys finacee. He talks about them on occassion and it doesn't seem to fishy.

Next time we chat I will ask about having an evening at his place - or offer to pick him up for a date.

I kinda thought maybe he wasnt' ready for the "friend introduction" yet

Are you sure he lives with roommmates? Haveyou met them - been to his place at all? I'm just asking because I want to make sure this guy's roommate isn't a she.

If that isn't the case, just tell him how you feel.

Next time you're deciding where to go, tell him you'd like to go to his place because you haven't seen it before and you're curious. He should be happy to oblige.

I am like 99% sure on the roomies. Long story short, I know where he lives and know who owns the title to the house - it matches on the name.

Hey a girl has to do what she can to protect herself.
