I've been with my boyfriend for almost five months now. We've had a few conversations about marriage but we've never had an in depth conversation. What kinds of things should a couple discuss before getting married to ensure all grounds are covered and nothing comes up later to cause confusion and/or arguments.

It's also a really good idea to go to premarital counseling together, especially one that offers a test such as PREPARE. A certain number of couples will find out they're simply not compatible long term and will break up without getting married, which then improves the success rate for the ones who do go on to marry.
