Okay, this is a little confusing, so here we go...
A little history - this guy, we'll call him SM. SM has been a family friend for 20+ years. And has been and/or is my brother's best friend. Anyhow, I was the little sister, who had a major crush on SM, when I was younger.

Well, today, I went by his mom's house, to drop off a CD, I'd made for him. He's been looking for.. Anyhow, while talking to his mom, she asked out of no where, "What are you planning on having for dinner?" I was like, Humm. Taco's...
She was like, "OH, that sounds, good."
What is that suppost to mean? Any advice on this situation would help..
I really want our relationship to work out.. I just don't know..
Hon, I think you need to take a step back from this situation because you're analyzing things wayyyyyyyyyy too much. His mom asked what you were having for dinner and you wonder what it meant? It sounds like she was making small talk and asking what you were having for dinner... nothing more, nothing less.
Truth be told, if the guy is interested he will make the move and you won't even have to wonder what's going on. You'll know. Take a step back and breathe. If it's meant to be, it will be... Have faith in that.
The more you obsess, the needier and less attractive you will become.
