I'm sure the answer is going to be yes, but I'll vent anyways. I had a date from OLD with a guy on sunday. He had contacted me last week, telling me I was the first person he contacted online, i was the only person he was talking to online etc. It really didnt matter to me either way, didnt mean anything. So he was writing really long messeges about himself, asking me about myself, then he suggested we meet up. For whatever reason he kept telling me that I'm the only person he is corresponding with online, he is nervous about making his profile public, he's only been online for a week.
So we met on sunday at 5:30ish, the date went well, we talked a lot, he told me i looked better in person than in my pics, he told me he knew some people from my town, but didnt want to give me their names just yet-but he would another time. He talked more about how once again, i'm the only person online he's talking to. I totally understand that he'd want to date others see what's out there, although he did mention that he felt 95% of the women online were not what he found attractive. The kicker for me is that I havent heard from him since sunday. Last week he wrote me pretty much every morning. When we left he gave me a hug and said that he would email me or call me, he offered to drive me to my car, i said it was fine, i could walk. I did mention a few times that on the dates i'd been on i had no chemistry with the people i went out with-true. This guy, I cant say there was a lot of chemistry yet, we only talked for an hour and a half, but id go out with him again.
What do you think? Should i wait till the end of the week before i write him off? Do i email him thanking him? Or do i just do nothing? I guess this is just the disappointing thing about dating...you can go out with someone, have a seemingly great time, but then not hear from them again.
