not interested?

This happens sometimes: I will flirt with a girl. Next time I see her she acts like she never met me. She pretends she is busy if I look her way. If I walk towards her, she finds someone to talk with.

Usually, I end up forgetting about her as I see this as too much of an obstacle. The thing is I do not come on strong;therefore, I do not get it. She does not appear as someone rude or arrogant by her demeanor.

I need an interpretation. I just assume she is not interested. But my friend has a theory she is playing hard to get. But I do not buy into it.

Any opinions?

if she's actively ignoring you, she doesn't want your attention.

When in the game of flirting, I think we need to go by the signals we are shown.

I don't think you should write her off and forget about her altogether.

Just a thought, maybe this girl is shy and very in to you but does not know how to reflect that towards you.

I'm not saying be a total pest towards her, but I think you can tell basically if she is being shy and ignoring you because she's afraid vs. just plain not interested in you.

Just my theory.
