the first week i dated this man he took me to a store to buy me some clothes for a date he had planned for next week, it was fun, a couple weeks have went by and he wants to go shopping again, thats fun to, but the problem is when he tires to hold my hand or kiss me i feel uncomfortable, it just seems so quick for a person to be so interested and also since he bought me over 200. worth of stuff its like maybe he expects me to feel comfortable kissing and hand holding, or is it just me needing to change the way i see it. and he wanted to know if we are now dating and if we should tell anyone and always wants to pick me up at my house, i say no, because i am dating and have children, maybe if i decided to date him only after a while it would mean i was ready.

hauteface...

Perhaps the gentleman feels "entitled to some sort of affection" because he has spent money on clothes and other items for YOU? So...make it clear NOW that while you enjoy his generosity...."money can't buy me love!" .

What you need to ask yourself is..."Do I just want a casual friendship with this man or would I eventually like to see him as a good husband, provider and role model for my children?"

Ask yourself this honestly...and you'll know whether it's wise to continue seeing him. Then explain your feelings because he'll either understand them...become very hurt...or just dump you for somebody else!

Remember that the reasons for dating are usually different for a man..as opposed to a woman.
