warm feelings, but no hot passion

this guy i am dating is as sweet as can be, but, isn't exactly what i would call lust material.
he think's i'm the most attractive vision he's ever seen (the ony man who ever said THAT to me) but I don't exactly feel that way about him.
when we get intimate, we can get passionate, though i haven't been aroused to orgasm yet (we have not had intercourse yet)
I love cuddling by him, and he's as comfortable as warm old sweater.
But every time i see a love scene on TV, I feel we are falling short. Should I leave him for someone better looking? The good looking ones ignore me like the plague.

How long have you been together and do you think it can grow? Personally, I would be careful about being in a relationship that I'm iffy about the passion. It tends to fizzle out when there are problems. However, some folks do believe passion can grow and that's why I'm curious as to how long you've been together...

I would be careful of thinking that just because a man is better-looking that he would be more able to incite passion in you.

I say put the little girl notions of love and passion away and enjoy what you have. Apparently there is something there in the knickers department. Give that time to develope. Lots of couples start out all spontaneous combustion and when that cools they are left looking at each other with nothing to say. As for comparing your relationship to what you see on tv, c'mon. That's why it's called acting. Who on earth really does half thar crap? What looks good on camera and what feels good in person are two VERY different things. Most of us don't have writers planning all our romances out for us, supplying us with what to say, while hair and make-up crews fix us up and someone takes readings to make sure the lighting is perfect. Celine Dion doesn't sing songs made especially for us every time our lips meet. Oh that real life was that way, but alas 'tis not so...

You don't say how long you've been dating, I get the feeling it's rather early,
