Hi-I've been on this board several time and I've always gotten good advice from everyone(thanks-I greatly apperciate it). Here goes-

I started talking to a guy I met online on one of those dating sites, we started talking last sunday night, we talked for over an hour everything was good, conversation I mean. After we were done talking I asked him if he would like to talk on the phone sometime, he said that he would like to get to know me first-I said that's cool. Well after that we been talking to each other almost everyday. Last night we talked for a little bit-started joking around like we always do-and he mentioned something about iff we ever meet-so I jokingly said "oh I see how it is now-ifff we ever meet" he said I didn't want to assume anything. In return I said sometime i would like to meet, but I want to get to know you first, I then said before we meet I would like to talk on the phone. He said he had to go and gave me his number-he was on his way to his sisters house to hang out, he told me I could call him if I wanted to, so I did-we chit chatted for a few mins. I got off the phone-well later that evening he came back online and we chatted again for a few. I had left my phone out in my car-when I got there-I noticed I had 3 voice mails, one of the voice mails was from him-hehe.

Now here is my questions-Did I push him to give me his number-I am hoping that I didn't. and he also said that he would call me back-when we did talk on the phone-since he did call me back, should I now call him or wait for him to call me again. I don't want to screw this up-so far he sounds like a really cool guy.

What to do?????

I would send him an email message acknowleding his voice mail message, letting him know that you hadn't received it at the time of your on-line communication. Then, let him take it from there.

And no, you didn't force him into giving you his phone number. It was probably not the time to give you the number, however, since he was en route to a family gathering. He should have given you a better time to call.

Anyway, drop him a line, and, as I said, let him pick up the phone in return.

Thanks peppergirl-not to long after I got done posting this letter-he called-hehe (we talked for a little). He said he had to go and do something and that he would call me back-and he did that as well. I know what he looks like, but he doesn't know what i look like and he is wanting to know-I will show him-but at the same time i am nervous. I think I am cute-but I am not drop dead gorgeous-hahaha
