My son is playing ball this summer, and I really think his couch is cute, hes single.

My question is should I wait until the season is over and play it safe or should I just go for it? If my son had his way, he would tell me to date. ( He dosent know I like)

Is there some kind of "rule" against dating a child's Little League coach? I don't think so. I don't even think there's any rule against dating a child's teacher... as long as YOU are not the student!

But I think the real issue for you is whether you should pursue a man at all. Generally, a man who is interested in dating a woman will let her know, and he will ask HER out. If he hasn't approached you, you could interpret that as he is not interested.

However, you can make your own decision here. Personally, I have never asked a man out, so I don't even know how to tell you to "go for it." I guess you could always just casually ask him to have a cup of coffee with you after practice, one day.

Good luck.

Hello kpeaceonearth, welcome to the board!

You might as well go for it... attractions don't go by seasons like baseball does you know... just keep in mind that he is preoccupied with baseball and hios team before and during the game so you might want to wait until after the game (and preferably after they WIN) to ask him if he would be interested in coffee after the game...

yeah, he would tell you to date...but would he tell you to date the coach?? I would wait out the season simply because if it didn't work out then I wouldn't have to see him that next weekend at the game. I'm a wimp.
