I have been dating him for 7 months and twice now he has done the scared act.

So he will make plans on the weekend with out me and so I will do the same.

Then when I am making my plans without him he now wants me around all the time.

I swear the next time he does this my plans without him are going to be permanent.

What do I do to stop his behavior.

When you make plans without him and he finds out do you change them for him? If that's the case, you need to stop that. He wants to do his own thing whenever, wherever, but when you decide to do your thing he pulls you in. You need to be unavailable to him- not so much to play games- but to have your own life too. Just because you are in a relationship does not mean you should spend all your time with him or waiting for his call. Go out with your friends, do your own thing and be independant. If he doesn't like that, then too bad. Do not allow him to control what you do, and do not drop your plans for him. That's controlling and you don't need it.

If you seriously want him to stop then you have to stick to your plans and do your thing. Do not be there waiting by the phone for him.

thanks,

I have learned over the years not to change my plans for a guy and to have my own life.

I bike and rock climb and boat without him and spend time with friends

I am even proactive and let him know at the beginning of the week that I have plans for the weekend.

For example this week I told him I was going with friends out of town but maybe next weekend we can go boating.
