I've been seeing someone new over the past few months. Nice guy, some things I like, some I don't- I'm certainly not perfect!

BUT, he really turned me off this morning, tell me if I'm overeacting. Long story short; I have parking stipulations in my small town; no cars on the street in between 2 am - 6 am. Silly, but ya can't fight city hall. Rules are rules.

He lives 1 hour away, he asked to sleep on my couch last night (which he did, no problem). He has done this several times before, but I called the cops to let them know he'd be parking on the street, as we must. This avoids tickets. I forgot to call them last night; hence he got a $30 ticket. He was supposed to leave by 5:45 am as planned, he ran late, the cop (we saw him) put a ticket on his windshield at 5:50 am literally.

Well he flipped. He was pissed; he said I'M NOT PAYING THIS, I'm CALLING THEM NOW....yadda yadda yadda. I said, you can't fight it, we didn't call as we are supposed to. He was like, we called every other time, I'm asking them to disregard this. I said NO, I'll pay it. Don't call and embarress yourself and me. You can't wheel and deal with the law!

Well he stormed out of my apartment and I have not heard from him since. I think this was EXTREMELY immature of him, and I am now very turned off.

Would you be?

ABSOLUTELY!!!!

But maybe he was having a bad morning, woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Whatever.

However it was only a 30 dollar fine, he was in clear violation. Whether or not you always call and let the cops know when you will be parking on the street is irrelevent.

He didn't call last night and thus the fine is valid. I would not offer to pay JACK shyt.

His car, his ticket, Wait and see how long it takes him to call you.; Perhaps he's angry at you for not making the call, ( Again Whatever ) If he is going to be a baby about a parking ticket, He may really crack under REAL pressure. I would be cautious at this point.

But if you are really turned off, it may be too late. I know with me, Once I am turned off I usually don't get turned on again ( At least by the same switch )

Good Luck

PS. What city do you live in if I may ask?

I have never heard of calling the cops to avoid a ticket. You must live in a very low crime environment. 911 where I'm from would not tolerate such.

Peace
