Where Do I Find Quality Men?

I am newly single again after a two year relationship went south because he doesn't know how he feels anymore and after 2 years we apparently don't have enough in common for a future or so he says. Anyways, I would like to know if anyone has suggestions on where to find quality, relatively normal, hard working men these days????

This is my experience/conclusions about the places I know about:

Online Chat rooms/online dating websites = my last two boyfriends were from this source and they both were lazy and losers who eventually begain looking online again for my replacement even before our relationship ended

Bars = mostly drunks and I don't drink

Clubs = I don't like them, can't dance, and I'm a bit too old anyways

Church = I don't attend

On the Street = I'm not the type of woman that gets approached by men

At the Grocery Store = Even if someone might check me out...again they never approach me

Work = all the men in my office are already married!!!

Gym = I don't have a membership and can't afford to get one (I work out at home)

College = No one approaches me, I'm too old for them, they hang out with their "friends" only

Please help! Any Suggestions on where to find someone of quality? I'm tired of being alone and would like to settle down with a good man and build a life together.

loveqgirl...

PG thinks you've come up with plenty of excuses to ELIMINATE many of the 'I'm starting to date again, where should I look' suggestions many ivillagers are likely to make?!

Of course...you didn't bring up DOING VOLUNTEER WORK...or offering your educational skills and background as a student teacher? .

Unfortunately...you seem to be EXPECTING A RETURN ON YOUR TIME INVESTMENT in the form of a satisfying, lifetime relationship? Not to burst your bubble, but this probably WON'T be very successful?

You have to generate a GOOD FRIENDSHIP FIRST with someone...BEFORE expecting anything more serious to happen!

well you sound pretty negative...so until you have a more positive attitude maybe it's best to just take a break from men and the dating scene?

Hon, I agree with PG... it seems you've come up with all the reasons why not to find a guy in all these places. Are you sure you're ready to find a guy? Maybe take some time for yourself, enjoy getting to know you, what you want, etc and let fate take its course and bring the guy to you? Just an idea... No offense meant.
