There is this guy who I've seen on the bus quite often, he always smiles at me,
told me that I'm pretty....I started to have a little bit of a crush on him even though I don't find him that attractive. He's older than me, anyways, one day I asked him if he wanted my email, he seemed nervous, and he gave me his phone number, told me his name and asked what my name was. So, I called him about 4-5 times but there's no answer. I feel like he may not want to answer the phone when I call. What's going on? Do you think that maybe he's intimidated that I'm a younger woman? (I'm 24, he looks about 40)Was I too pushy to ask him if he wanted my email?
Thanks, any insight would be appreciated!

Pianoguy's "best guess" is that the man became self-conscious about the age difference between you and chickened out! He probably has caller id on his phone?
It's too bad he didn't answer your calls because you sound like a "great catch for any man!"
But overall...IT'S HIS LOSS...NOT YOURS!

Thanks PG,
yeah, i think he does have caller id! Oh well, I guess I should just let it go then! Why do guys chicken out for???
Hi Sandra!
PG doesn't think there's any one particular reason why "guys chicken out!"
However...there ARE a few men who feel extremely self-conscious when a co-worker or friend makes a remark like:
"I see you're dating your daughter?!"

I never gave him my phone number on the messages.....maybe I should have??
